Yes, use your parking brake on the hill, don't forget to remove it before pulling out again. Your insurance does not cover you or your wife, it covers your car so make sure it shows whatever car you are taking your test in. The insurance document should be the insurance card for that car. The cones are 6 or 7 feet tall, not a visibility issue at all. What insurance document did they need to see? My wife's name is on ours, but I gather this should effectively cover me? Parking between two parked cars is fine, but if I can't see the cones, it could be a problem. How tall are the cones you have to park between? Our car has high side panels making external viability really bad. Not really the case with automatic cards, so if someone could tell me when to use this brake other than hill parking, I'd be most grateful. I took my test in the UK on a stick shift, so the parking brake was essential.

Do examiners require you to use the emergency brake/Parking Brake at any time other than the hill parking. I 've driven for 38 years, so taking this test feels rather odd. I am British and used to driving on the left. She went through my performance and told me that i didnt look behind me and autofailed and i had to come back at 530-6 am mon and that was it. These were the 2 things i was worried about she then had me pull out from the spot and go right and then came to a lane change 2 left arrows and 2 right arrows and she had me go left, and then straight and around the block I then came to the stop light and went left at it and right at the next turn where she had me "hill park (downhill)" after the hill park she had me turn left (where i supposedly didnt look in my rear view) go around the block again and then park on the curb. My test was at 320 mon and I got there right around 3 I didn't have to wait more then 5 min to get going, she had me do the equipment check and then the test test began she had me turn right and then right again up 1st was the parallel parking which was actually really easy they gave me tons of room after that she had me pull from the spot and turn right again and then it was the 90 degree back turn again was actually really easy.

I actually loved the test I'm on my laptop now, but everything was super easy and the instructor was actually very nice, the only thing I'm irritated with was the autofail but its whatever on it. I'm on my phone atm so sorry If there are any spelling mistakes.

I know What that means but does it have any significance? I know taking a defensive driving class gives you a discount on insurance so I was wondering If it does the same? I'm a first time driver and buying my first car Mon night If I pass so I'm full of questions. so anyways any input would be awesome since I have to get up at about 4 to go take the test and I'm def not nervous just find it odd lol also I heard it's a defensive driving course.

Okay so I took my test Monday and failed boo lol oh Well I'm not really concerned since I passed the whole thing with flying colors, I autofailed because she said I made a left turn without looking behind me (I did look but again oh Well) so she told me it was an autofail and I get to retest Mon but she said I have to come in at 530-6 am I was confused so I called about it since the DMV stuff opens at 8 and they told me that the slot I was told to come in at is for drivers they know are going to pass so that's cool anyone else have this? Also the lady didn't tell me on the slip What P/R with U under it means and it's bugging me lol I didn't ask since she said my only error was the mirror thing so I was just wondering lol I don't get why people say Arden hills is so bad the course was super easy and the lady was really nice.
